RMNi would like to have a Haiti mission trip, but the 2006 trip had to be cancelled due to no applications. We hope to include those with strong gifts in the areas of teaching, evangelism and medical fields. Clinic volunteers are needed (no prior medical background is necessary—you will be trained). Medical experience is a plus. We will make every effort to provide a safe trip. Please contact us if you are interested in a trip. The trip fee will be in the neighborhood of $2000.00.
Haiti has experienced political upheaval for many years. Currently the UN is attempting to stabilize the country ahead of general elections. Haiti is economically the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The average lifespan is 53 years. See the World Factbook for detailed country information. Going into all the world includes countries with the greatest needs.
