Jacqueline Huggins--First Af-Am New Testament Bible Translator

Jackie is the first African American woman to complete a New Testament translation. The Filipino Kagayanen language New Testament will be ready for presentation on April 19, 2008. Here is a link to Wycliffe's description of this event.

African American Missionary Census

We are often asked for the current number of African American cross-cultural missionaries. We hope to complete an updated census in 2008, but we need assistance. Please contact us with information about any current African American missionaries who have served, or intend to serve, for at least two years. Here is the survey form. African American Mission Manifesto

This historic document was drafted in 2006 and 2007 and ratified by participants of the African American Missions Strategy Seminar on January 20, 2007. This conference was hosted by Columbia International University of Columbia, South Carolina. Careful and prayerful collaboration went into the document's development.
