God’s Part Stressed—Can We Please God?

the validity of even trying to please God, since
they believe that we already please and are accepted by Him. But…

fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God

On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying
to please men but God, who tests our
hearts.
